The most common and popular way to bet on football is using spread bets in which the outcome of the game comes with a line in favor of some team, but many people don't realize that these bets lines don't represent the real outcome. Opposite to the single bet is the parlay bet, in which you pick the winners of several games in a row and the wager prize is a lot higher than in a single bet. This bet could be just picking the winner of the game, or picking the total score in an over/under bet, or even a combination of a single bet with an over/under. The payout for these bets is way better than playing on a single bet or total alone, but the risk is increased.

Another option is the teaser bet. This wager allows you to modify the spread in 2 different games; You have certain amount of points you can subtract or add to the spread in a way you find more convenient; this normally is a bet with even money. You have to be extra careful with this wager when it comes to half points because some bookies call a tie a loss, while others call it a push, so just read the instructions before you make any move. A half point could make the whole difference, and as proof of that, some bookies let you "buy"extra half points.

If you are betting in more than one game give the same amount of importance to every game you are going to enter, but stay within your money cap. There are many factors that can change the outcome of every match, and there is much information you need to look up before making a decision.
